Up, Up and Away!!!

I'm bizzzack with a long blog entry this time around. Too many things going on nowadays....everyone seems to keep me on my toes. I'm glad for that and makes me not want to blog because I tend dwell too much on a moment that I might miss a next one (:P).

So what's the word on the street about the "Blahz" himself?

Easy. Everything and nothing (hahahaha). Let me go in depth with that answer. I was so happy to be done exams. If school was a poker hand I was dealt with I would be so happy to fold that motherfucker. Not only just fold it on the table, fold it on the table and then throw the table out the window (LOL). That's how happy I was glad that I finally got a break. This week I did everything I wanted and no drama on the side (YAY!). Chilled with good friends and brought two circles of friends together. (It was a slow transition but we got there.) I had a blast this week.....a MEGA-BLAST that is!

Went to play ball at the Mother Teresa courts. Nike donated it to the Malvern community and it was made between the Malvern Rec and Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School (the high school I went to. Go MT!). The best outdoor court I've played on in my life! Since last month I organized sundays to be a day to meet up to play basketball since we don't see each other due to work, school or just busy. I can't wait for sunday during the week I can't get enough. The anticipation kills me for reals!

So....I got what I wanted. To get out of the T-Dot and just escape. Going to Vegas tomorrow early in the morning because my family and I are flying from Buffalo to Vegas. Honestly I'm not hyped about Vegas, not yet anyways. Maybe when I get there. I'll be back on Sept. 2nd then I start school on the 5th.

Time is going by so fast. Things can change so quickly and yet stay the same. Just have to be patient, the time will come sooner or later.

Enjoy your summers people and spend it with great family and friends!

Blahz out! Peace!

"In New York your heart is first, and your talent is second."

I want control.
I want my electric relaxation.
I want to pull my "stunna" move and other moves when i play ball.
I want to go with the flow.
I want to tell her how much I miss her being by my side.
I want to live life to the fullest.
I want to be surrounded with great people.
I want to meet new people.
I want to do my own thing.
I am gonna tell it like it is.
I am going to be real.
I am just gonna be me.

I'm almost at the finish line...

Another day at lovely Seneca College - Newnham Campus. I am taking in the sight of just a casual morning in the Computer Commons here. I am going to miss this because fall semester is going to be hectic for sure. Having a casual easy-going summer semeste with only about 40% of the school attending in the summer, I came to enjoy it a lot. I remember my first day thinking that it was gonna be brutal coming here while everyone seemed to be on vacation. I have made some new people that have become my new accquintances (I am still processing them for "friend" status hahaha) and that has really made this time very memorable.

From my experience I find it's hard to keep friends in college since it's such an atmosphere where everyone is constantly stressed. Sometimes you cannot show who you truly are when being subjected to stay inside the lines and keep it professional in a way. I finally had the opportunity to just be myself while getting to know and learn more about my fellow accountants in training.

THE COOLEST PEOPLE ARE THE NERDS. Yes!!! I said it and it's the truth!!! The OUTSTANDING ones are the people who can socialize with the best of them and yet are CLOSET NERDS. Secretly I want to be them because they seem they are the ones in control. I think they whisper out "Who's your daddy?" when they finish their homework.

I am going to miss this moment because it's the first time in a long time that I felt secure in college (I have dropped out of two programs prior to this one). Business is what's meant for me. Onto second year! Semester three bitches!

Got thrown off course...

Last friday was a day like no other. Got to school around 6:50am and did my usual routine of walking to the cafe to read the newspaper. I walked in surprised to find a classmate of mine be in school so early. Tatyana is a fashion graduate and is taking marketing part-time to upgrade her mark. Also, for the fellas, she is 5'6, of russian descent, going to Ryerson, and does yoga and pilates. I hardly talk to her in Marketing class so I decided to go and fully introduce myself and see what's she all about. She was a warm and yet playful type of girl. Very opinionated which I liked because obviously if you do know me, I have a lot of shit to say as well and I love getting to know why we are the way we are (the human condition). I blame my interest in psychology and wanting to develop my reading skills for playing poker to feed my curiousity.

Tatyana remarked that I have low self-esteem as her observation about me because I haven't told her what I am all about. (Hahahahahah! it seems I was playing poker with her already and not giving away any "tells".) I didn't trust her that's why. She slowly was making a good point that I seemed like a distant, loner type. Hahaha it doesn't that take much to read that. Yes it's true, I just like doing my own thing but I still like to "change gears" and shock people from time to time by engaging them in conversation.

The reason why she was there early because she was trying to finish a pamphlet project for her Interpersonal Communications class. She asked me if I would help her if I'm not busy. I reluctantly accepted to help because I didn't plan to chill for so long, But I did and our teamwork chemistry was good and was glad I stayed and helped her out. We finished and met up later in Marketing.

After Marketing class she asked me out for lunch as a thank you. It seems she wanted to go out to lunch just her and I. I suggested to come and chill with our group from Marketing instead. She was cool with it and bought me lunch, which she insisted and I thought she was so fucking nice of her to do that. I misread her I thought she would be more into herself before I met her. I'm glad she proved me wrong.

Nothing really goes as planned. Sometimes you get thrown off track and end up on a new path that can open up your eyes to more possibilities. What I ask myself now is: Do I want to take a chance and make something of myself? or do I want to look back and ask myself, What could have been?

Stopping to breathe once again...

At school and it's 8:35am. My class is at 11:40am. Why am I here so early? It's because I will soon study for exams that will be coming up soon. So my trip to Montreal was much needed. I wish I didn't have to come back but you know with school in the way I had to. I went swimming and just chilled and meditated for a bit it was relaxing. Didn't really want to talk to anyone. Needed a break from the stress and if I stayed in Toronto I would of gone crazy probably. LOL.

Next week my exams are coming up. It's time to shake and bake with dem books now! After I have 2 weeks of freedom and then school once again! Change is imminent and I finally feel that I'm totally going the right direction.

Check this movie. It looks like it's going to be really good. Hahahah I'm actually thinking of seeing in the theatre and not downloading it for real. Who wants to watch this with me?

Looking at life in all, from Montreal.

The thoughts of tomorrow are becoming persistent in my mind.
To find a one of a kind, a "rare" if you will.
Something that I have been longing for as trees stood still.
That this tomorrow will satisfy this expectation I have made today.
Hard to say, I won't know till tomorrow.
No time machine to be borrowed or stolen as my heart was since yesterday.
That's why I look forward to tomorrow, because of today I grew such sorrow.
Plans to meet with tomorrow are only a day away.
I shall express my love to tomorrow and I will say,
"No matter what happens I will love you even as you turn into yesterday
or the day before. The memory of this time we shared is mine forever more."
Twelve hours have passed and now today is half yesterday.
With half tomorrow looming, I ask myself, "What will the day ahead bring?"

flying over the cuckoo's nest.....part 3

35 hours I stayed up during last monday-tuesday. longest since my 25 hour marathon that took place 2 weeks ago that ended out with clubbing and walking in the rain afterwards=GOOD TIMES with the complainer girls! finished up my essay this morning and took my 2 hour nap. school is getting busy again with all these students now finally doing some work. stressful time for most of us...I can't wait till it's over. let the insanity begin and may I have a painful and sleep deprived last week before exams. WHOOPEEEEEE!

flying over the cuckoo's nest.....part 2

Thinking of 31 flavours for 31 hours I've been up and I feel like I have so much energy still. Sooooo weird man.....fo' sho! Hahaha yeah I didn't faint on a 90 lb girl or didn't tumble down the stairs and temple of doom balled 10 people. It wasn't like I killed them! Some of them fell off the stairs to their own death......*shrugs* what can you do?

So...I finish my project and go into accounting class are care free and shit. 40% of the class didn't know how to do it or didn't finish it entirely hahaha. Teach comes in and I hand mine in first then 10 mins later he says, "GET EVERYTHING OFF YOUR DESKS EXCEPT YOUR CALCUATORS AND PENCILS! ....I'LL BE GIVING OUT TEST 2 SOON!"

I'm like, "jsaldfjakjghnailnbfuap;sdfnglaksjdljg !!!!!!hgnadlngalfknjbaonsdg!!!!!! UBERFUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKED.......(....while I'm sittin sidewayz, boys in a daze! j/k LOL). Good thing I've mastered Chapter 4 which is half of the test. But still I don't talk to anyone in accounting anymore because the ones I used to talk to skip the class hahaha. Plus I skipped last week too hahaha. I did as much I could and was glad to get out of there. Enter OBR class>>>>

So I walked in and this asian girl I've seen once before during the second week of classes and disappeared for like 9 weeks has decided to show up again. I was so checking her out before then she fled like David Copperfield all of a sudden. Anyways she comes up to me and smiles and asks me if I'm handing in the homework and I told her that I am. She then hands in the work and just leaves. "My gosh woman where have you been all my life?!?!?!" HAHAHAH *POOF* she's gone again! and I ask some people and they don't know who I'm talking about. ...3 hours later>>>I'm home and I'm wondering what her name is now!

When I watch Jeopardy I can fake buzz like the best of them but when it's a girl I can't buzz in and say "What is your name?" That's like driving to the basket with a chance of an open lay up and hit the bottom of the board instead.

P.S. It's crazy hot outside and girls dem sugar!

TO BE CONCLUDED....

flying over the cuckoo's nest....

been up for 23 hours now hahaha. finished my accounting comphrensive case at 3am and now doing OBR homework. leaving now for school....let's see if I can get through the day without fainting on a 90 lbs. person hahahaha.
